Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.helloflight.in and all services offered on it ("Helloflight", "we", "us"). By creating an account, making a purchase, or otherwise using the site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Helloflight is currently operated as an unregistered sole-proprietorship business of Dr S S Malik (India). It is not (yet) a registered company; references to "Helloflight" mean this proprietorship. Contact: easeadventure@gmail.com or ops@helloflight.in.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to make purchases on Helloflight. Minors may browse free content only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.
• You may register with an email address or via Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse other users, or attempt to circumvent payment or content protections.

3. Our services

Helloflight offers six sections. Different rules apply to each:

• Study — paid digital study material and question banks for DGCA CPL/ATPL examinations, sold as per-subject passes.
• Refer — a free aircraft-systems reference written in-house.
• Discuss — a forum for pilots and aviation enthusiasts.
• Travel — flight-fare discovery and crew-stay suggestions, largely via links to third-party booking sites.
• Charter — a marketplace that connects you with independent, DGCA-licensed charter operators.
• Inspirations — a curated feed of aviation content from around the web, embedded or linked with credit to the original creators.

4. Study passes

• A study pass is a personal, non-transferable licence to access the purchased subject's content for the stated validity period. It is not a sale of the content itself.
• You may not copy, redistribute, resell, scrape, or publicly share study content, question banks, or mock exams, in whole or in part.
• Passes expire at the end of their validity period. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• Sharing an account to give others access to paid content is a breach of these Terms and may lead to revocation without refund.

5. Not operational guidance — safety disclaimer

Content in Study, Refer, Discuss, and Inspirations is provided for examination preparation and general interest only. It is not a substitute for official DGCA publications, aircraft flight manuals, OEM documentation, your operator's SOPs, or type-rated instruction. Never use Helloflight content for the planning or conduct of actual flight operations. Always refer to current official documents.

6. Payments, pricing & coupons

• Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and may change at any time; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not see or store your card, UPI, or banking credentials.
• Coupon codes are promotional, may carry usage limits and expiry dates, and may be withdrawn at any time. One coupon per order unless stated otherwise.

7. Charter marketplace

• Helloflight is a facilitator, not an air operator. Charter flights are quoted and performed by independent operators holding their own DGCA permits (NSOP or equivalent). The contract of carriage is between you and the operator.
• Quotes, availability, aircraft type, and final pricing are provided by operators and may change until a booking is confirmed and paid.
• Payments for confirmed bookings are held and released per the booking flow shown at checkout. Cancellation charges are per the terms attached to your quote and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• Flights remain subject to weather, air-traffic, regulatory, and operational constraints. The operator and pilot-in-command have final authority over the conduct of any flight.

8. Forum & user content (Discuss)

• You retain ownership of what you post, and grant Helloflight a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, and moderate it as part of operating the forum.
• Do not post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, infringing, or that reveals confidential material (including airline internal documents or copyrighted training material).
• Moderators may edit, lock, or remove content and suspend posting rights at their discretion. Serious or repeated violations may result in account termination.
• Nothing posted on the forum is professional or operational advice.

9. Travel section & affiliate disclosure

• Fare results in Travel are cached indicative prices, not live offers; the final price is set by the airline or agency you book with.
• Affiliate disclosure: many outbound travel links on Helloflight are affiliate links (via partner networks such as Travelpayouts). If you book through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes the price you pay.
• Bookings made through third-party sites are contracts between you and that provider — their terms, prices, and cancellation policies apply. Contact the provider directly for changes or refunds to such bookings.

10. Inspirations & third-party content

Inspirations items are embedded or linked from their original sources (for example, YouTube videos embedded per YouTube's Terms of Service) with credit to the creator. We do not claim ownership of third-party content. If you are a rights holder and want an item removed, email easeadventure@gmail.com and we will act promptly.

11. Intellectual property

All Helloflight-authored content — study material, the Refer knowledge base, site design, and branding — is our intellectual property. You may not reproduce it beyond what these Terms and Indian fair-dealing law allow.

12. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

• The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that content is complete or current at all times.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Helloflight's total liability for any claim arising from the use of the site is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the preceding 12 months.
• We are not liable for the acts or omissions of charter operators, travel providers, payment processors, or other third parties, or for indirect or consequential losses.
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights, the courts at New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version; continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
